I-Balz for tubes

Tying on tubes definitely has its advantages and disadvantages. I recently blogged about Riverborn's Anodized Aluminum Coneheads and how they also work great on tubes. Hourglass eyes are another item that sometimes work better on a hook than on a tube. Spirit River's I-Balz are very wide and work great for small and large size tubes. The I-Balz have been popular for tying on hooks when you want a wide dubbed head (think Sculpin patterns!) and will hopefully catch on with tube tyers. Check out the eyes on that Intruder!

Recycled Waders

Recycled Waders is a new company based in Seattle that had the ingenious idea to repurpose used waders instead of letting them go to the landfill. They have repurposed a few hundred waders already!
So not only can you donate your used breathable waders to them, you can also purchase some great products that are made out of recycled waders.

Don't worry! They wash these things before making neoprene stocking feet into these Koozies!
My personal favorite, the Nook Sack Pack. It fits two C&F Waterproof fly boxes perfectly!
Would you like to donate your old waders? If you send us your old waders we'll give you $50 off a pair of William Joseph Dry-namic Waders or $30 off a pair of William Joseph V-2 Waders. If you don't need a new pair of waders you can send your old ones directly to Recycled Waders here. Two thumbs up to an innovative company that is helping us all live more sustainable!
